Snoring Cessation

Easily put an end to snoring

Snoring can be a big problem, resulting in disrupted sleep and even affecting relationships. Sometimes snoring is caused by an underlying condition, such as sleep apnea. Sleep is important for the body to properly repair itself, so if you aren’t getting quality rest, it can affect the entire body and its ability to heal. The team at Corbett Family & Cosmetic Dentistry can help you with an airway assessment and refer you to a sleep specialist if necessary. We can also provide a custom snoring appliance to help keep your airway open so you—and others in your household—can enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Nighttime Teeth Grinding

Bruxism treatment that works

Many people grind their teeth at night without even knowing it. Over time, this unconscious habit can chip and crack the teeth. That’s why if you’ve been diagnosed with bruxism or suspect you may have it, it is important to seek treatment. A custom-made nightguard can help to prevent further damage and reduce the impact. We take digital impressions to ensure your nightguard fits comfortably, and you just need to wear it overnight when you sleep.

TMJ Treatment

Relieve jaw discomfort and restore function

Temporomandibular (TMJ) disorders can be very painful. It may be caused by habitual teeth grinding or clenching but can also arise from other factors, including jaw injury and genetics. The most common symptom is discomfort with jaw movement, specifically difficulty chewing. Pain may extend back into the ear. To combat TMJ disorders, Corbett Family & Cosmetic Dentistry offers oral appliances and Botox treatment. First, we will check for any occlusion issues or other dental problems that may be causing stress on the TMJ. We can then customize a treatment plan to achieve pain-free movement and restore your oral health.

Dental Crowns

Repair your teeth and prevent further damage

Dental crowns are restorations cemented over your teeth to strengthen them and prevent further damage. They are great for repairing moderately to severely damaged teeth and are a common restorative treatment we use at Corbett Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. To ensure a precise fit, we’ll first take digital impressions to produce detailed 3D models and see exactly how your teeth come together. All of our dental crowns are made from porcelain, which is a durable, high-quality material that also looks very natural.

Dental Bridges

A custom solution for a functional smile

Dental bridges help by “bridging the gap” left by missing teeth. You can use a bridge to replace either a single tooth or several teeth in a row. The crowns on each end of the bridge hold a replacement tooth (or teeth), called a pontic, which fills the gap. You’ll be able to enjoy normal oral health with a bridge and will take care of it by brushing and flossing around it just like the rest of your teeth.

Dentures

Custom made for comfort and confidence

Corbett Family & Cosmetic Dentistry can create full or partial dentures to help you restore your smile and oral function. The right option for you will depend on whether you need to replace all your teeth on one or both arches (full dentures) or just need to replace some and still have healthy teeth remaining (partial dentures). Dentures are a tried-and-tested solution for missing teeth. You’ll be able to eat and speak as normal and will simply remove them after meals for cleaning and overnight for sleeping.

Implant-Supported Dentures

For maximum stability

Implant-supported dentures offer the best stability because they secure to implants that are actually placed in the jawbone. This eliminates any possible rubbing, shifting, or slipping that can happen with traditional dentures sometimes, especially in the early stages of treatment. We can provide hybrid dentures, implant-retained dentures, and leave-in dentures at our practice.

Dental Implants

Modern, permanent tooth replacement

Dental implants are permanent replacements for missing teeth. The titanium implant posts fuse with the jawbone to act as the new tooth roots, stimulating the bone and keeping it healthy. We then fabricate and cement your final restorations, usually single crowns, in place to complete the dental implant process. If you are thinking about getting dental implants or have dental implants that need restorative work, come see us at Corbett Family & Cosmetic Dentistry.

Full Mouth Restoration

A personalized plan to restore your smile

A full mouth restoration involves multiple restorative treatments, carefully planned by Dr. Corbett. This typically includes several appointments over time to achieve a complete smile and optimal oral function. A full mouth restoration will address all of your dental concerns and set you up for excellent oral health.
